On compact disc for the first time, this recording is reproduced from the historic LP recording made in the 1950s at First Presbyterian Church, Kilgore, Texas. The legendary professor of organ at University of Oklahoma, Mildred Andrews, performs the complete preludes and fugues of Vincent Lubeck, Walter Piston "Chromatic Study on the name of B-A-C-H," Ernst Krenek "Sonata, Op. 92," and Roger Sessions "Chorale No. 1." This MONO recording was produced by the American Organ Institute at the University of Oklahoma School of Music.
