East Texas Pipe Organ Festival
WELCOME TO THE 2013 EAST TEXAS PIPE ORGAN FESTIVAL
November 10-14, 2013 Mark your calendars now!
The East Texas Pipe Organ Festival is a four-day festival(plus special pre-festival events) featuring five Aeolian-Skinner pipe organs designed and tonally finished by Roy Perry. We will visit the organs at First Presbyterian Church, Kilgore; St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Kilgore; First Baptist Church, Longview; First Baptist Church, Nacogdoches; and St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral, Shreveport, Louisiana. Featured recitalists are Joby Bell, Charles Callahan, Ken Cowan, Isabelle Demers, Nathan Laube, Jason Roberts, Thomas Trenney, Thomas Trotter, Brett Valliant, and Bradley Welch, with special concerts, presentations and exhibits honoring the life and career of concert organist William Teague.
Hotel Information:
Our official East Texas Pipe Organ Festival Hotel is Comfort Suites of Kilgore, where we have reserved a block of rooms for November 10-15 at the festival rate of $79.99 per night per room (per room, not per person, so share a room and save!).
