East Texas Pipe Organ Festival

The East Texas Pipe Organ Festival is a five-day festival featuring the area's Aeolian-Skinner pipe organs designed and tonally finished by Roy Perry. We will visit the Aeolian-Skinner organs at First Presbyterian Church, Kilgore; St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Kilgore; First Baptist Church, Longview; St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral, Shreveport, Louisiana, and the Williams and organ at First Baptist Church, Shreveport.

Featured recitalists include David Baskeyfield, Charles Callahan, Ken Cowan, Monica Czausz, Scott Dettra, Jelani Eddington, Matthew Lewis, Adam Pajan, Caroline Robinson, Damin Spritzer, and Todd Wilson. We will have special presentations featuring this year's guest of honor, concert organist, Albert Russell.

Hotel Information:

Our official festival hotel, Kilgore Comfort Suites, has been sold out for months. However, we have three additional hotels that are giving us special rates. When making your reservations, be sure to call the hotels directly and mention the East Texas Pipe Organ Festival. (Making reservations online will not get you the festival rate.)

Hampton Inn: 903-983-3300. $94 per night for a Single King room. $99 per night for a Double Queen room. A bus will run here.

America's Best Value: 903-988-2800 - $69 per night. Bus will not run to this hotel.

Best Western Kilgore: 903-986-1195 - King, $76.49 plus tax; 2 Queen - $80.99 plus tax. The buses will not run here, but, if you have a car, it is a quick 5-minute ride to the Comfort Suites, which will have bus transportation.
