The long-awaited issue on compact disc of Clyde Holloway's landmark 1970 recording for the Aeolian-Skinner "The King of Instruments" series. Taken directly from the master tapes, this recording features Dr. Holloway at the Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ at National Presbyterian Church, Washington, DC. Over 68 minutes of glorious Aeolian-Skinner sound played by one of the great organists of the 20th Century. Works are Liszt "Prelude and Fugue on B-A-C-H," Mozart "Fantasy in F Minor" K. 608, Reubke "Sonata on the 94th Psalm," and a previously unreleased additional take of the Liszt B-A-C-H. Stereo.
